New arrival: the ST2 Pro

The K3, with a second motor. Two 1000 W hubs, 60 km/h, 150 kg — and the same 52 V pack.

The ST2 Pro is KEPOW's newest scooter, and the first one built as a direct successor to the K3 rather than alongside it.

If you already know the K3, you know the shape of this. Ten-inch off-road tyres, suspension at both ends, a deck low enough to feel planted. The ST2 Pro keeps all of that and changes the part underneath it.

What's new

The new drivetrain is two motors instead of one. The K3 runs a single 1000 W hub; the ST2 Pro runs one in each wheel — 2000 W at peak. That is the whole idea, and most of the other differences follow from it.

Top speed moves from 50 to 60 km/h. Maximum load goes from 120 kg to 150 kg, and it isn't a beefier frame doing that work — it's the second motor.

There is also a switch the K3 doesn't have: double-click the M key and the scooter drops to single-motor. One wheel on the flat, both when the surface turns. You feel it in how much battery you spend.

What didn't change

The battery. Same 52 V, 20.8 Ah pack, so the headline range hasn't moved either — the ST2 Pro is rated 50–70 km.

The tyres are still 10-inch off-road. The suspension is still front and rear. The deck, the folding stem and the aluminium frame carry over.

Where you'll notice the difference

Gravel and loose ground

Two driven wheels share the grip. When the front goes light on a climb, the rear is still pushing.

Hills with weight on board

150 kg is 30 kg more than the K3, and it stops being a marketing number the first time you carry a full pack up a ramp.

Where the K3 is still the better buy

If your riding is mostly flat tarmac — a commute, a station run, a short errand — the K3 does the same job. It costs less, it weighs less.

The ST2 Pro earns its price when the route includes climbs, loose ground, or a second rider's worth of cargo.

That isn't a hedge. It's the actual difference between the two scooters.
